Delivered in collaboration with another designer, Nosh Cambridge showcases how a bold industrial palette can be balanced with warmth and elegance. Within a compact footprint, the design incorporates a mezzanine floor to maximise dining capacity and create multiple zones, all while maintaining flow and atmosphere.
The architecture celebrates raw honesty — textured concrete tilt-panel walls, exposed steel structure, and visible HVAC systems set a robust industrial backdrop. Against this, cedar linings, crafted joinery, and elegant seating bring warmth and refinement, softening the harder edges and creating a comfortable dining experience.
Feature arches frame the bar, layered lighting highlights the textures, and the mezzanine offers elevated views over the vibrant main floor. Every detail is considered, from stair balustrades in perforated steel to the rhythm of seating layouts, resulting in a space that feels both urban and inviting.
Nosh is a testament to collaboration and balance — where industrial character meets crafted hospitality design in the heart of Cambridge.
